So one can't help but notice the inequalities that the south west of Sydney is subjected to by Shitty Rail. Old grubby trains. No air con. (Sometimes air con is included but it is either broken or to hot/cold). Crowded. Slow. Broken intercom. The list goes on. Today my radar has picked up on the fact that if you wish to travel from Parramatta to (say) Glenfield, then you don't even get 8 carriages. There is one 4 carriage train every 1/2 hour BUT if you happen to live on the northern line - well you are in for a real treat. Brand spanking, shiny, new trains, all mod cons, 8 carriages and they arrive every 3 - 8 minutes. I'm sitting in a carriage that smells like an unwashed arse, sweating like a navvy while the northern suburbites are travelling home without more than 12 persons per carriage. We need an overhaul of power here. If the Westies would only get riled up and get onto the dickheads that run this crappy rail system. We have to get to work, pollies want us to work so we can pay for their entitlements, why should we put up with crowded, smelly, hot trains when there are plenty of nice ones heading up north with hardly anyone on them.
